AI creates texts for people with reading difficulties

The aim of the TextAD research project at ¸£Àû¼§ is to better understand different types of reading difficulty. This knowledge can then be used to develop digital tools that automatically adapt texts to the needs of readers.

Supplementary Intensive Reading Training in Decoding - KILA

The project develops and evaluates a digital teaching program to strengthen phonemic awareness – linking letters to sounds. In collaboration with Legilexi, research-based tools are made freely available to schools.

MALWA – Mathematical and Language word problem acquisition

This project explores how language affects problem solving in mathematics. We test two teaching programs for early primary students to strengthen reading comprehension and the ability to solve word problems.
