Postdoc

I'm a postdoc on the project Operationalizing Ethics for AI, where my research focuses on synthetic data and representation. My background is in Natural Language Processing and Gender Studies. My pronouns are they/them.

Language, gender, technology and power

My research interests lie somewhere in the intersection of language, gender, technology, and power. As part of the project Operationalising Ethics for AI, I focus on interrogating synthetic data.

I completed my PhD at Ume疇 University, working in the Computing Science department in association with the Graduate School for Gender Studies. My thesis focuses on understanding biases in text data and using this understanding to create better, fairer language technologies.
