My research is grounded in neuroradiology with focus on imaging of the brain in multidisciplinary projects.

Presentation

My research is grounded in neuroradiology with a focus on imaging of the brain in multidisciplinary projects. Using different techniques, such as magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography, we investigate different pathological conditions of the brain in an adult and pediatric population. Some research areas covered are brain tumors and fatigue.

Advanced MRI technology detects changes in the brain after COVID-19

Researchers at LiU have examined the brains of 16 patients previously hospitalised for COVID-19 with persisting symptoms. Their findings can bring insights into the underlying mechanisms of persisting neurological problems after COVID-19.

Millions to be invested in promising researchers from the region's clinics

The Wallenberg Center for Molecular Medicine and Region Östergötland are starting a strategic research effort this year. The investment will boost clinically oriented research where six associated clinical fellows will start the program in 2023.
