Joyanto Routh

Professor, Head of Unit

My primary interest is in Biogeochemistry and its applications in various environmental issues with definite societal relevance. I teach classes in Environmental Science, Introductory geology and Climate Science.

My research focuses on environmental issues in sedimentary and aquatic systems (e.g. pollution, climate change,food and water security). I teach undergraduate and graduate students, and supervise PhD students.
