My research focuses on the development of environmental protection within the legal nexus. Specifically, I examine how legal norms and policies are constructed and evolve over time within the broader context of climate change.

This project aims to explore and analyse the relationship between ecocide and the complex system of environmental protection and policy, particularly in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

LiU researcher ahead of UN climate summit - "I鈥檓 optimistic"

Azerbaijan will host the International Climate Summit this year. Although the country is heavily dependent on its oil production, holding the meeting there could actually be an advantage, according to Rinata Kazak, who will represent LiU.
