Education in drone systems and swarm technologies

LiU offers several international master’s programmes that combine theoretical depth with practical skills in the development of drones and drone swarms.

This expertise is in demand across both the public sector and industry. The programmes at LiU equip students with the ability to, among other things, develop autonomous systems in which multiple drones collaborate.

The master’s programmes are offered across several departments and are connected through strong cross‑departmental research collaboration. For those wishing to deepen their knowledge further, courses and professional development programmes are also available.

Aeronautical Engineering, Master's Programme, 120 credits

This programme offers a holistic view on aircraft design. Thanks to close collaboration between the University and the aerospace industry, you will be prepared for working with aircraft design, aircraft engineering, or wind turbine engineering.

Computer Science, Master's Programme, 120 credits

Provides skills needed within modern software technology, for positions such as operating systems designer or Internet security specialists. You can also pursue a career in research or continue your studies towards a doctoral degree.
