Mental illness is a major and growing social problem. Gerhard Andersson wants to tailor treatment content to each individual, using online psychological treatments to help even more people.

Last year, Professor Gerhard Andersson’s new year’s resolution was to skateboard regularly. He is now launching a research study to investigate what can make us keep the promises we made for the new year.

Four researchers at ¸£Àû¼§ (LiU) have been included on a list of the world’s most cited academics. The list has been put together by the company Clarivate. Every year, Clarivate uses this list to celebrate influential researchers.

Professor Gerhard Andersson is psychologist and psychotherapist and one of the most cited researchers in the world. He is now associated with the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences at LiU. Thus, he has left Karolinska Institutet.
