From refugee housing and emergency response in Germany to academic research: Hanna Reichelt turned migration studies into practice and back again and is now pursuing a PhD in Political Science after gaining hands-on leadership experience.

My role, as a pediatric occupational therapist, is to support children and families individually as well as developing evidence-based group programmes to help develop their skills and help them participate in society as the wish to do.

My consulting work led me to write a book that studied childhood as its own culture, and in the course of researching for that book, I discovered the field of Child Studies.

I really like that I got to go straight into public administration and public policy because I feel it is such an important place to have the kind of awareness that you get from the Master's programme i Gender studies
