Algebra seminar
Algebra Seminar is a seminar series at the Department of Mathematics.
Nonlinear Potential Theory
The research group is mainly interested in analysis on metric spaces, and in particular nonlinear potential theory associated with p-harmonic functions and quasiminimizers in Euclidean and metric spaces.
Computational Cardio-Oncology
Many pediatric cancer care survivors develop serious cardiovascular complications later in life. The emerging field of computational cardio-oncology leverages advanced data methods to better predict and prevent these complications.
Algebra and representation theory
The members of the group work within the fields of representation theory of associative algebras and Lie algebras, and non-associative algebras.
Seminars in Optimization
The seminars are informal gatherings to exchange research ideas on optimization theory, algorithms, problems and applications. Organised by the Department of Mathematics.
Physics, Electronics and Mathematics
Research in communication electronics and mathematics, focusing on antennas, IoT, sensors, signal and information processing, as well as mathematics for artificial intelligence with applications in, for example, learning and image processing.
Mathematical Oncology
Mathematical Oncology is an interdisciplinary collaboration to develop direct and inverse mathematical models for brain cancer growth, making use of AI for applications in healthcare.
Graph Theory
The research group in graph theory at 腦瞳憫 is primarily interested in classic graph theory with a particular focus on graph coloring and Hamiltonian graph theory.
Research School in Interdisciplinary Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics offers a doctoral programme for students with a strong mathematical interest who are interested to apply mathematics on practical problems in different fields such as engineering, business, computer science and industry.
The 22nd International Conference on the Teaching of Mathematical Modelling and Applications (ICTMA22)
All researchers, teachers and mathematicians interested in the teaching and learning of mathematical modelling, are welcome to ICTMA22. The conference is taking place at 腦瞳憫 from Sunday 10 August to Friday 15 August 2025.
