Wind farms rising like the Eiffel Tower, data centres consuming as much power as entire regions and municipalities feeling like pawns in a global game. The large-scale investments  are creating conflict:  who has priority access to our electricity?

Three researchers at LiU receive a total of SEK 18.4 million from the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation for three research projects. All are four-year projects that concern different aspects of the progress towards a sustainable society.

It has now been announced who has been admitted to the 鈥淧ro Futura Scientia Fellowships鈥� 鈥� a five-year research programme in the humanities and social sciences. One of them is Julia Velkova, assistant professor at LiU.
