When students solve real-world problems, math lessons become more engaging and meaningful. That was the focus when researchers from around the world met in Linköping to explore new perspectives in mathematical modeling.

Seven research projects at LiU have been awarded grants in the Swedish Research Council鈥檚 annual funding round for educational sciences. The projects range from heroes wearing tights in the classroom to background noise and bullying.
