Four projects receives the E-health Seed grants 2022. This grant aims to give the investigators a better idea of feasibility and directionality of research before applying for more funds from other sources.

Three projects have received collaboration grants for new project ideas within e-Health. The grant aims to increase collaboration between ¸£Àû¼§, Region Östergötland, industry, municipality or other partners.

Can we see what is happening in the brain? Yes, we can in a sense, using imaging technology. But the processes in the brain remain to a large extent mysterious. Researchers are now using modelling to help understand these processes.

Digital twins will now be tested in real health care environments, in an EU-financed project. The idea is that having a digital copy will make you follow advice from the health care better.

In the future, a digital copy of your own body – a digital twin – may help you live a healthy life. At LiU, mathematical models are being developed as tools for better health. This is the result of collaboration between experts in several fields.
