Heart failure is a growing health concern, particularly among the elderly. Heart failure patients often experience repeated hospitalizations. It is currently the most common cause of hospital admissions for people over the age of 65.

The conference is organized by ¸£Àû¼§ (LiU) in collaboration with the Swedish Institute of Medical Yoga (SIMY).

The Left Ventricular Assist Device Self-care Behaviour Scale.

We investigate whether medical yoga sent remotely can improve people’s health. Heart disease patients and former intensive care patients are included in the study.

In general, everybody is recommended to be physically active for at least 150 minutes a week to improve health. Physical activity helps us to participate in daily life activities, stay independent for a longer time and have a good quality of life.

Our vision is to promote, create, translate, and implement innovative research of high quality which can make a difference for children and young people with various conditions.

It should not matter where in the country a woman gives birth. Nor should her background. A new research centre is therefore being set up, to make the entire care chain for expectant and new mothers more equal and based on their individual needs.

The ongoing research project aims to evaluate the effects of a support programme for informal carers of persons with heart failure. The programme is brought via the interactive web platform Support and Treatment on the national health portal 1177.se.

CESAR is a group of researchers that are working toward Collaboration and Exchange in Swedish cardiovascular cAring Research.

An important purpose of the DOHART study is to improve the care and treatment of people with heart disease and depressive disorders using an internet-based self-help programme based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
