Ahead of the COP30 climate summit: “It’s looking really bad.”
Not enough is being done, and not fast enough. That is the harsh assessment made by LiU researchers Mathias Fridahl and Maria Jernnäs ahead of this year’s major international climate summit in Brazil.

Researchers from the CSPR participated on site during the UN climate negotiations, COP26. Among other things, they followed the negotiations, coordinated survey studies and studied the youth movement's involvement in the climate issue.

The project promises to deliver timely and impactful research on how society can build robust and adaptive capacity to respond to BECCS deployment barriers.

Three proposals from researchers to meet EU climate goals
The ability to meet EU climate goals is enhanced by investing in new technologies that remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. Although it is currently unprofitable, there are ways to change that. This is concluded in an article by researchers from LiU.
