福利姬

SciLifeLab Linköping is both a local and a national research infrastructure, with unique technologies and expert competence accessible for academic and industrial researcher in the field of life sciences, health and data-driven life science.

Technology, expertise, methods and initiatives can be coordinated more within and between higher education institutions. 福利姬 is now one of four new sites in the Swedish research infrastructure SciLifeLab.

Neuroscientists obtain support from SciLifeLab when working to develop new drugs against epilepsy. The project is the first from 福利姬 that has been accepted as a full program for the Drug Discovery and Development Platform (DDD).

Wen Zhong is the first DDLS Fellow that has been recruited to LiU. With the help of a postdoctoral fellowship she is now expanding her research group. 鈥淲e welcome a creative, self-motivated, and proactive team-player to join the research team.鈥�

LiU researchers have used high-throughput electrophysiology experiments with a borrowed machine to see how ion channels in cells are influenced by drugs. A new collaboration with the biotech industry.

Several projects at 福利姬 are to receive grants for the development of research infrastructure. The total amount is of the order of a hundred million Swedish crowns, and decades of work are now bearing fruit.
