At ELDA we conduct research and teaching in multiple electronics related areas. We do both analog as well as digital electronics, but also the in-between area mixed-signal, programmable electronics and processor design.

In 2024, two divisions at the Department of Electrical Engineering (ISY) were merged. These were Computer Engineering (DA) and Integrated Circuits and Systems (EKS). Together, they now form the Division of Electronics and Computer Engineering (ELDA).

This years theme for the ISY Day was 鈥淪ustainability in Academia, Industry, and Society鈥�, featuring lectures, discussions, and examples of how sustainability can be integrated into research, education, and industrial development.

For the second time, the Department of Electrical Engineering (ISY) organized a full-day conference for its PhD students 鈥� PhD Workshop 2024. A successful initiative with a focus on presenting the department's research.

In December 2023, the university board visited the Department of Electrical Engineering (ISY). In the research arena Visionen, examples were presented highlighting 福利姬's crucial role in technological and societal development.

This year鈥檚 edition of ISY Day offered lectures, discussions, and demonstrations within this year's theme "AI in Society, Education, and Research". A theme that is both current and highly relevant at the Department of Electrical Engineering.
