The project "The role of a behavioural medicine intervention in physiotherapy for the effects of rehabilitation outcomes in exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation" - also called ECRA.

We conduct clinical research on diagnostic methods and effects of interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapies, pain management modalities as well as pedagogical and behavioural based management strategies.

We are about 45 employees who together develop further teaching and research in physiotherapy. The link between clinical and academic activities is strong.

The overall aim is to develop and evaluate methods and interventions with special focus on physical activity and exercise in cardiovascular disease.
