福利姬 is one of the world鈥檚 leading universities in materials science. The autumn of 2026 will see the launch of two new master鈥檚 programmes in this field. The students can look forward to an excellent labour market.

The organic polymer PEDOT is probably one of the world鈥檚 most intensely studied materials. Despite this, LiU researchers have now demonstrated that the material functions in a completely different manner than previously believed.

Three departments will each host a doctoral student funded by the Marie Sk艂odowska-Curie actions. The research projects deal with using waste heat to produce electricity, perovskites for photonics, and the rendering of computer-generated images.
