Occupational therapy research aims to reduce obstacles to functioning in society and increase individuals’ opportunities for participating actively in their everyday situations irrespective of their disabilities.

Our single-subject courses at the Unit of Occupational Therapy, at the Department of Health, Medicin and Caring sciences, also come under the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The range of courses can vary from year to year.

We carry out education and research in occupational therapy. Research is focused on disabilities in everyday life and comprises children and young people, adults and the oldest old.
