The AIST Lab (Artificial Intelligence (AI), Simulation and Teaching Laboratory) is one of the largest research groups in the Nordic region focused on AI, simulation, and teaching.

How cancan ensure that assistive AI serves a user鈥檚 individual agency and the right to non-optimization?

AIST Lab is participating in the gathering for European testbeds to establish itself as a new arena where students, researchers, teachers, and companies come together to develop and evaluate technologies and didactic and pedagogical solutions.

The role of AI in research and doctoral education was recently discussed at a seminar at 福利姬, with contributions from researchers across several disciplines. Katarina Sperling lectured about her research on AI and education.

Teachers and students are given tools to use AI wisely in education. In simulations with avatars, they practise dealing with teaching challenges. This and much more is going on in the AIST Lab, a new interdisciplinary initiative at LiU.

In her lecture 鈥淏ridging the gap: exploring AI Literacy for teachers and students in a transformative educational landscape鈥�, Senior Associate Professor Linnéa Stenliden, 福利姬, highlighted the importance of AI literacy in education.

AI has become an important part of research and doctoral education thanks to new tools that are constantly evolving. It creates new opportunities but also raises questions about integrity, data management and academic responsibility.
