The IKOS Finance Team consists of Controllers, Financial Officers, and Coordinators. Together with the Administrative Staff, we support Division Heads, their Directors of Studies, and their various Research Leaders.
As a team, we believe in the power of collaboration. By coaching, consulting, and assisting one another, we ensure high quality and cost-effectiveness in our work. We provide financial reports and related services to researchers, and safeguard LiU’s regulatory compliance in the financial area. We strive to develop new solutions that reduce bureaucracy and streamline our financial processes.
My Role, Networks and Goals
My main responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the divisions as well as individual research projects. Within our team, I have a designated role as the Divisional Finance Officer for the Division of language, Culture and Interaction (SKI), the Division of History, Arts and Religious Studies (HKR) and the Division of Philosophy and Applied Ethics (FTE). Within our team, I am one of the Finance Officer’s with experience from European Union project accounting.
I’m heading up the Department’s work on quality assured accounting and am a member of the cross-university working group on Financial Closing and Quality Assurance. I’m a member of the Finance Officer’s Network within the Faculty of Educational Sciences (UV) and the Cross-Departmental Finance Cluster for Campus Norrköping.
As a team, we want Heads of Division and researchers at IKOS to have a solid understanding of their division’s finances, along with access to clear and comprehensible decision-making materials that support effective and sustainable leadership in research and education.
