I am an industrial doctoral student, employed by Huddig AB and working at ¸£Àû¼§. My research primarily concerns the electrification of articulated backhoe loaders.

Presentation

My doctoral studies focus on thermal management in electrified mobile machines, where energy efficiency is becoming increasingly important as the abundance of energy storage and waste heat suddenly disappears, when fuel tanks and combustion engines are replaced by batteries and electric motors.

In order not to compromise on the performance of work machines and driver comfort, the heat energy needs to be moved to where it is most useful at the lowest possible energy cost, which can vary depending on both the type of machine and the task. Unlike transport vehicles, work machines have different conditions for recycling waste heat, and my focus is on investigating how.

My research is part of the third in a series of collaborative projects within the— STEALTH III: Sustainable Electrified Load Handling: Electrified Actuator Technologies for Mobile Machines — funded by the Swedish Energy Agency (P2023-00596).
