I am trained as a licensed physician in the Netherlands, after which I have specialised at Skaraborg Hospital Skövde as a paediatrician. In addition to having practiced as a general paediatric physician, I have always focused on children and young people in vulnerable situations, children who are abused, neglected and those who are exposed to violence, both through courses and in practice. I have been involved in starting up Barnahus Skaraborg, Child Protection Team Skaraborg and Child Protection Team Västra Götaland and is still involved in these activities. Current workplaces are Child Protection Team Västra Götaland and researcher at Skaraborg Hospital and doctoral student at Barnafrid, Linköping University.
