Background

Svante Gunnarsson received the M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics and Electrical engineering 1983, and the Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control, 1988, both from Linköping University. He is currently Professor at the Division of Automatic Control.

His research interests include modeling, identification, control, and diagnosis of industrial robots. He is also Center Director for the Competence Center supported by Vinnova.

Programming their future colleague

Summer job success, despite incomplete project

Research

Iterative learning control based on sensor fusion

The aim of the research is to improve the accuracy of industrial robots by using Iterative Learning Control in based on estimates of signals obtained by sensor fusion.

LINK-SIC is a Vinnova Competence Center for industry-academia cooperation in the general area of control systems and signal processing. The center's operational period was between 2017 and 2023.
