We can use sensors attached to the body to capture patterns of motion, and the results can for example be used in the gaming and film industries and in medical rehabilitation. Manon Kok鈥檚 doctoral thesis deals with inertial sensors.

Vinnova to support agricultural technology
The objective of Agtech 2030 is to make eastern Götaland a world-leader in agricultural technology. The programme is selected by Vinnova as a Vinnväxt programme. It has a total budget of nearly SEK 200 million, of which SEK 70 million from Vinnova.

Flying vehicles find their own path

Two simulator labs opened in Norrköping
Two simulation environments, for maritime applications and for air traffic control, have been built at LiU. 鈥淚t may appear to us to be playing games, but it is everyday experience for maritime pilots and flight controllers鈥, says Jonas Lundberg.
